Is anyone surprised that the Left reacted to this tragedy by trying to exploit it for political gain? We shouldn't be. This tactic is pushed by those in the highest circles of Democrat Party power.

”Never Let A Serious Crisis Go to Waste”

As Obama’s Chief of Staff once said:

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste

The Left has taken Rahm’s advice to heart, reacting to this tragedy by deploying several of their favorite weapons: attacking the Second Amendment, stoking racial division, even twisting language itself, all in an attempt to move the dial politically.

Perverting Language: "Terrorism"

Sick of being called out for their refusal to name & confront terrorism, the Left has decided to use the word "terrorism" to describe all violent acts perpetrated by someone who isn't a member of one of their "protected classes".

But what is "terrorism"? It's simple:

the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

No political motive, no terrorism. Since we have no clue as to the Vegas Shooter's motive, we just don't yet have enough information to say either way.

But that won't stop the left from calling it terrorism in an attempt to deflect from the criticism they’ve faced:

The NRA should be branded as a terrorist organization

Rolling Stone:

It's time to politicize the terror attack in Las Vegas

Ariana Grande:

We need love, unity, peace, gun control & for people to look at this & call this what it is = terrorism.

This is a recurring theme on the Left. When reality stubbornly refuses to conform to their ideology, they defile language itself so that false becomes true and true becomes false.

Divide & Conquer: Race

If you were listening closely, you could hear the orgasmic gasps of Leftists everywhere, relieved to hear that the shooter was white and excited to explain all the many bad things we can learn about white people as a result.

It's sad that we've all come to expect the Left's politically motivated racial divisiveness.

Second Amendment

Few things anger the Left like our sacred Bill of Rights, particularly the Second Amendment.

In their jihad against lawful firearms, they'll ignore anything that doesn't support their narrative: stats about the kinds of guns actually used in murders, the percentage of peaceful gun owners that never commit a crime, the failure of gun control laws in violent American cities, examples of legal gun owners who stop crimes, etc.

Let's prepare for an unprecedented assault on our Second Amendment rights by stocking up on ammunition: share your favorite 2nd Amendment memes below!

Finally, let's close by thanking Providence that we have a God-Emperor who loves the 2nd Amendment, rather than a Sick and Crooked Madame President who privately rebuked SCOTUS for protecting the 2nd Amendment and who wanted to ban ALL guns.
